I’ve been photographing Taylor and James since their engagement session and 2018 wedding. It’s been such a joy to continue capturing their story as their family grows. There’s something special about working with returning couples as the trust and ease always shine through the photos.

Planning a Beach Session with Little Ones

Since Taylor and James now have two little ones, we wanted a beach location that was easy and enjoyable for everyone. We chose Leo Carrillo Beach with easy parking, a short walk, and soft sand. No one likes lugging baby stuff across a huge beach before the session. Leo Carrillo Beach was the perfect spot for this family beach photo session with plenty of space for play, exploration, and those genuine family moments.

Soft Light and Coastal Moments

The California coast gave us the most beautiful light – soft, golden, and perfect for those candid, joy-filled images. Between giggles, sandy toes, and the occasional wave chase, every frame felt honest and full of heart. Sessions like this are a reminder that sometimes the best family portraits are the ones that feel effortless.
