Blogging this session brings me such joy!  I’ve been photographing this family for the past 7ish years and I’ve known mom since Jr High School!  She is one of the top 5 most genuine, kindest people I’ve ever known which means her babies are a beautiful example of her inside and out.  Marni, you have made an amazing tribe that radiates love and kindness…and it is such a pleasure photographing your family!

Dilynn.  Dilynn.  Dilynn.  Your senior session brings me to tears (happy ones!) as a mama.  You have a beautiful soul that lights the room you walk into.  You’re thoughtful, kind, caring and so bright…and your world is just beginning!  I am so excited for your new journey and I know that you will do amazing things!  Thank you for allowing me to capture this special session in your life.  Big, big hugs!

A little about the session, I wanted to capture Dilynn in her favorite element (fields with wildflowers) with her family and some of the things that represent her in this time of her life.  Senior sessions do not have to be stuffed into a studio with a plastic backdrop (well the yearbook photo does) but you can venture out into the world and pick a location that makes you feel like you, right now in this moment of your life.  Living in Southern California, means we have a ton of location options from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles – beach, urban, fields, trees, you name it!
