You know when you first meet someone and you can tell within the first few minutes of a conversation how nice they are? That’s how I felt when I met Amanda + Giancarlo. I instantly felt like they were just genuinely kind, down to earth people. We met at Starbucks before they hired me to photograph their wedding. It’s not often that I meet my clients in person before their engagement/wedding day. With busy schedules and couples that live out of town, FaceTime becomes the most convenient way of meetings nowadays. I love face to face meetings because it’s nice to put a face with a name. I love getting to know my couples and hearing all about their visions and ideas for their wedding day. Hiring your photographer can be insanely overwhelming. Just google photographer in your area and there are hundreds of pages – another reason I love meeting with my couples…I am a real person and a real photographer behind my webpage or my socials. There is no doubt that there is SOOO much to think about when planning a wedding and at the top of the list, hiring your photographer.

The wedding was held at the beautiful Quail Ranch in Simi Valley, California. It was an absolutely gorgeous, warm day in June. With the help of their event planners, Down Emery Lane, Amanda + Giancarlo’s vision came to life! I had such a great time working with you both and your family and friends! I felt so welcomed by everyone. I felt a lot less like I was working and a lot more like I was amongst friends. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness! xx, Teresa
